What Does A Low Placenta Mean

During your second trimester you normally have a routine ultrasound. This is when most cases of a low placenta during pregnancy are found. During the early days of pregnancy it's not too big of a deal to have a low placenta because in most cases it will move up on it's own. You will be scheduled for another ultrasound in your third trimester to check the position of your placenta at that time.
